🌿 Alembic Sound Foundations

Group Sound Practitioner Training — Begins 26 May 2026

This course is an initiation into the art of holding sound as medicine with presence, care and skill.

Alembic Sound Foundations is a six-month professional training for those called to guide others through immersive group sound experiences — whether in studios, retreat spaces, online containers, or sacred gatherings. Training also includes how to confidently deliver sound sessions online.

Over the first three months, you will step into a living laboratory of sound, presence and creative expression. You’ll learn to weave Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, healing voice, drum and percussion into cohesive, powerful journeys – while cultivating the confidence and awareness to hold safe, grounded space for others.

The following three months are devoted to integration and embodiment:

• A public case study Sound Bath event

• A written piece exploring your understanding of therapeutic sound

• A practical assessment (online or in-person)

This is where knowledge becomes lived skill.

✨ The Experience

Training is delivered online, with self led supporting lessons, from the Soundsphere Studio & Yurt, combining:

• Guided teaching sessions

• Weekly live Tutorials: Tuesday evenings 6.30-9.00pm

• Demonstrations and instrument technique

• Creative weaving practices

• Theory and energetic principles

• Practice tutorials and home study

You will learn to:

• Blend multiple instruments into seamless, immersive group journeys
• Develop your own unique sound signature
• Understand the foundations of therapeutic sound theory
• Hold safe, intentional, nurturing space
• Deliver beautiful, structured sessions both in-person and online

No previous musical experience is required.
Some background in therapy or space-holding is helpful but not essential.

This training is suitable for complete beginners as well as practitioners wishing to refine and elevate their work.

🌿 A Proven Lineage

The Diploma in Alembic Sound Foundations has evolved from the Certificate in Creative Therapeutic Sound, delivered by Suzy of Soundsphere Scotland since 2015.

Her graduates are widely recognised for their depth, creativity and professionalism in the field.

This is a training that honours both practical excellence and spiritual integrity.
