Becoming the Enchantress: An eight-week journey into the magic, wisdom and creative power of the feminine
We hear a great deal about the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone. But what of the Enchantress?
She is sometimes described as the fourth feminine archetype – the woman who stands between Mother and Crone. But I don’t believe the Enchantress belongs to one particular age or stage of life.
She is an energy that lives within all women.
She is intuitive, creative and sensual. She knows when something has run its course and when something new is asking to be born. She has lived enough to recognise her own patterns, and she is learning to trust what she knows.
Becoming the Enchantress is an eight-week journey through the four feminine archetypes of Maiden, Mother, Enchantress and Crone, with time between our gatherings to explore how each of these energies lives within you.
We will work with sound, voice, meditation, ritual and reflection, drawing on the wisdom of the feminine cycles as we move through the darker months of the year together.
Over our time together we will explore:
• awakening the inner mystic and deepening intuition
• reconnecting with sensuality, creativity and voice
• the wisdom held within the feminine cycles and archetypes
• meeting the shadow – the parts of ourselves we hide, silence or leave behind
• remembering what gives us pleasure, vitality and a sense of aliveness
• listening more closely to the inner voice that knows when something needs to change
• creating space for what wants to emerge next
You don’t need to be at a particular age to meet the Enchantress – or any of these feminine archetypes.
The Maiden, Mother, Enchantress and Crone are not simply stages we pass through and leave behind. Each carries her own gifts, shadows and wisdom, and each can speak to us at different times in our lives.
You may be stepping into womanhood, moving through midlife, emerging from a period of change or loss, or finding your way back to yourself after years of tending to everyone and everything else.

Our Journey
Monday 9 November 2026 – The Maiden
We begin at the New Moon: possibility, beginnings, curiosity and the spark of something new.
Monday 23 November 2026 – The Mother
As the Moon approaches fullness, we explore creativity, nurture, what we give life to, and the places where giving can become over-giving.
Monday 7 December 2026 – The Enchantress
As the Moon returns towards darkness, we meet intuition, sensuality, voice, shadow, transformation and the deeper knowing of the Enchantress.
Monday 21 December 2026 – The Crone & Cailleach
We meet on the Winter Solstice, at the darkest turning of the year, exploring wisdom, endings, stillness, ancestry and the ancient figure of the Cailleach.
We then carry this final part of the journey with us through Christmas and the turning of the year.
Monday 11 January 2027 – The Return
We come back together in the New Year to gather the threads: what have these archetypes shown us, what has shifted, and what do we want to carry forward?

About Suzy
Suzy Nairn, also known by her artist name Susaidh, is a sound healer, teacher, musician, writer, mother and qualified life coach and mentor.
Her relationship with sound and healing stretches back more than three decades. She began consciously exploring the therapeutic possibilities of sound around 2000, undertook two years of professional training, and has worked professionally with sound since 2009.
Over the years, thousands of people have experienced Suzy’s work through sound journeys, workshops, retreats, individual sessions and professional sound-healing training. Her approach draws together sound, voice, music, energy work, creativity and personal enquiry, with a particular interest in the ways these can support periods of transition and transformation.
Alongside her therapeutic and teaching work, Suzy writes and performs her own music and is currently developing her work as an author.
Now 57, she brings something to her work that can’t be gained through training alone: the perspective of a life fully lived. Her own journey through creativity, motherhood, relationships, loss, reinvention and the changing seasons of womanhood has continually shaped and deepened what she teaches.
Becoming the Enchantress grew from that exploration and has been taught by Suzy before. This new journey returns to the work with fresh eyes, inviting women of every age to explore the Maiden, Mother, Enchantress and Crone not as fixed stages of life, but as living archetypes whose wisdom remains available to us throughout our lives.
