SUMMARY:Breathwork and Therapeutic Sound Immersion
DESCRIPTION:Join Suzy Nairn from Soundsphere and the amazing Sophie Brigstocke from London for this powerful transformational workshop. You may already have experienced either of these modalities individually and by combining them you can expect a really profound and evolutionary experience. The session will be held in the spacious Broughton St Mary’s Church Sanctuary where Suzy hosts her monthly Sound Chambers. \nMany people are now realising the full power and potential of conscious breathwork. Some have incredible breakthroughs\, some reach a state of inner peace never fully felt before and some have powerful releases and insights. Participants will be “held” safely in the space by these two experienced facilitators. \nSuzy and Sophie met through training as life Coaches together and they are excited to join forces and create something really special. For those that are new to breathwork\, it is a somatic practice that Sophie found invaluable on her own journey to healing and she has since trained in different forms\, from very gentle\, coherent breathing to more intense conscious-connected styles. Sophie recently returned from learning with James Nestor\, author of the Sunday Times bestselling book\, Breath. Sophie loves the idea of introducing Breathwork to those who have never experienced it so that they can integrate practices into their everyday lives\, reduce stress and feel healthier and happier. \nSophie will guide the breathwork session while Suzy accompanies with gorgeous sounds to support your experience. \nGuests will need to bring a mat\, blanket\, cushion\, eye mask (optional) and water bottle and journal. Please bring what you need to be comfortable. \nBACKGROUNDS\nSuzy Nairn is a Sound Therapist based in the Scottish Borders who has been providing powerful therapeutic sound sessions since 2009 and the launch of Soundsphere. She is regarded as one of the foremost sound therapists in Scotland\, if not the UK and worldwide\, and offers group Sound Journeys\, a monthly Sound Chamber in Edinburgh\, 1:1 treatments\, short courses\, workshops\, recordings and professional training. Suzy is also a singer songwriter\, a vocal and performance coach and has continued her own self development through training in Life Coaching\, Reiki\, Pellowah\, Merlin Vortex Healing\, and a number of courses with the Goddess Mystery School. Suzy’s previous career was as Adult Education Manager at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and a number of roles within arts and environmental charities. \nSophie Brigstocke is a Transformational Coach and Breathwork Facilitator based in South West London. For the past twenty years she has worked primarily in the perinatal world supporting families during pregnancy\, birth and the early postnatal period\, being awarded Doula of the Year at the MaMa Conference in Scotland in 2017. Since 2012 she has owned and run Nurturing Birth\, providing training and mentoring for doulas across the UK and beyond. Sophie’s passion is supporting people to feel empowered\, to let go of beliefs and stories that hold them back and to heal trauma. DESCRIPTION:Join Suzy for a full day of sound\, art\, divination\, ceremony and envisioning your 2023! A magical day to really get clear on what you would like to achieve in 2023 as well as what you are leaving behind from 2022.\nWe will be based in the beautiful yurt and house to allow for a mixture of sound healing sessions\, ceremonies to set our intentions\, crafting (some candle making and art) and a gorgeous flow of divination and guidance throughout. Only 8 spaces available.\nAttendance is £120/£80 conc. and guests are invited to bring some food to share for lunch. I will be providing some lovely warm soup and artisan bread. These sessions can bring deep and powerful shifts for guests\, offer insight\, a place to rest\, rejuvenate and they have also been shown to reduce physical pain\, anxiety\, tension and even settle high blood pressure and help with sleep patterns. So you are invited now to take the time to reduce stress and rest deeper than ever before which can help people to cope with life’s challenges. The powerful sounds and skilled weaving of gongs\, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls lull your mind body and spirit into a physically restful state\, releasing stress and tension\, nurturing your soul and easing mental fog.\n\nTHE EVENING begins with a short talk some from Suzy\, her reflection on the time of year\, moon cycle or anything that feels appropriate and significant. There may also be an exercise such as aura cleansing or group toning. Then you will wrap up with your cosy blanket and rest as Suzy immerses and nurtures you in a healing soundscape – a tapestry of sound will support you as you are surrounded in frequencies and vibrations\, helping you to journey to the other realms\, cleansing and de-stressing your physical\, emotional\, mental or spiritual bodies and supporting your growth and development. DESCRIPTION:Come along to the magical Casa Colibri\, our wonderful Soundsphere yurt for a deep and supportive sound journey. The fire will be on (if needed) and the evening will include a talk and sharing\, medicine cards and a one hour deep sound journey to bring peace\, replenishment and rest. \nDue to COVID numbers are significantly reduced and guests must read the attending instructions regarding what to bring\, parking and arrival etc\, thank you! Address is included in the confirmation email. \n**These sessions may not be suitable if you have frequency or sound-induced epilepsy or migraines\, or if you are less than 3 months pregnant. Please email me if you have any questions.
