DESCRIPTION:Becoming the Enchantress: An eight-week journey into the magic\, wisdom and creative power of the feminine \nWe hear a great deal about the Maiden\, the Mother and the Crone. But what of the Enchantress? \nShe is sometimes described as the fourth feminine archetype – the woman who stands between Mother and Crone. But I don’t believe the Enchantress belongs to one particular age or stage of life. \nShe is an energy that lives within all women. \nShe is intuitive\, creative and sensual. She knows when something has run its course and when something new is asking to be born. She has lived enough to recognise her own patterns\, and she is learning to trust what she knows. \nBecoming the Enchantress is an eight-week journey through the four feminine archetypes of Maiden\, Mother\, Enchantress and Crone\, with time between our gatherings to explore how each of these energies lives within you. \nWe will work with sound\, voice\, meditation\, ritual and reflection\, drawing on the wisdom of the feminine cycles as we move through the darker months of the year together. \nOver our time together we will explore: \n• awakening the inner mystic and deepening intuition\n• reconnecting with sensuality\, creativity and voice\n• the wisdom held within the feminine cycles and archetypes\n• meeting the shadow – the parts of ourselves we hide\, silence or leave behind\n• remembering what gives us pleasure\, vitality and a sense of aliveness\n• listening more closely to the inner voice that knows when something needs to change\n• creating space for what wants to emerge next \nYou don’t need to be at a particular age to meet the Enchantress – or any of these feminine archetypes. \nThe Maiden\, Mother\, Enchantress and Crone are not simply stages we pass through and leave behind. She began consciously exploring the therapeutic possibilities of sound around 2000\, undertook two years of professional training\, and has worked professionally with sound since 2009. \nOver the years\, thousands of people have experienced Suzy’s work through sound journeys\, workshops\, retreats\, individual sessions and professional sound-healing training. Her approach draws together sound\, voice\, music\, energy work\, creativity and personal enquiry\, with a particular interest in the ways these can support periods of transition and transformation. \nAlongside her therapeutic and teaching work\, Suzy writes and performs her own music and is currently developing her work as an author. \nNow 57\, she brings something to her work that can’t be gained through training alone: the perspective of a life fully lived. The powerful sounds and skilled weaving of gongs\, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls lull your mind body and spirit into a physically restful state\, releasing stress and tension\, nurturing your soul and easing mental fog. \nTHE EVENING begins with a short welcome talk from Suzy\, her reflection on the time of year\, moon cycle or anything that feels appropriate and significant. There may also be an exercise such as aura cleansing or group toning. DESCRIPTION:🌿 Alembic Sound Foundations\nProfessional Group Sound Practitioner Training – Next Group April 2027 \nAlembic Sound Foundations is a six-month professional training delivered by Suzy in the art of creating and holding immersive group sound experiences with skill\, creativity\, presence and care. \nAlongside developing your practical skills with Himalayan and crystal singing bowls\, healing voice & drum and percussion\, you will be invited into your own journey of exploration\, and personal growth and transformation\, supporting you in creating your own sound language. \n✨ Why Alembic?\nAn “alembic” is an ancient apparatus used in the process of distillation – traditionally to extract the precious essence from plants\, herbs and other materials. \nThis is at the heart of the name Alembic Sound Foundations. \nThe journey through this training is not simply about learning how to play instruments. It is also a process of discovery and distillation – gradually stripping away some of the noise\, self-doubt and learned ways of being\, and allowing a more authentic expression of yourself to emerge. \nThe instruments become your sacred tools. Through them\, you learn how to create and facilitate sound experiences that are professional\, sensitive\, skilled and potentially profound\, whether your intention is to work with yourself\, share sound with family and community\, or develop a professional practice. \nFor some students\, Alembic begins as a personal journey and develops into something more. Others arrive already knowing that they want to work professionally with sound. \nMany graduates now incorporate therapeutic sound into their existing work\, blending it with other healing\, therapeutic or creative modalities.
